Hi folks, got a question for the techy people on here,
My other half has a mk1 Golf which is currently having a 1.8T engine put in the back, so RWD!

Anyway, We're looking for advice on which turbo to go for, she's just bought an ABT exhaust manifold with a T3 flange and we're looking for 300bhp + i was thinking of maybe a T34 with a .55 ex housing or a .48.

Whats people's opinions?

If you really want a Cossie type turbo, and want anything over 300bhp, then .48 housing T34 is a good bet.

We only talking 1.8litres remember so wouldnt go bigger housing if didnt have to.

Prob best off with a GT28RS or similar, as you want it spooling up as soon as poss really dont you.
