Default locking wheel nut removal

i have a single locking wheel nut on one of my trackcars wheels,any tips on getting it out as there is no key

three prong type.or this type in the pic....

hammer a socket on which is smaller than the nut or drill it out

hammer a 15 or 16mm impact socket onto it and whizz it off

just had to do this recently as I lost my key

as said above, bash on a smaller socket and they come off no probs
