my garage (although single) is a fair size and has a big roof, i just use a couple of cheapo leccy heaters and it stays nice and warm.

if you stick polysterene insulation on the back of the garage door it helps aswell.

if you are gonna have the heaters on regular, make sure the garage is well ventilated or you will get alot of condensation.

Ive got a snap on / bluepoint gas one, we've got a double garage and warms it in no time! Maybe tempted to sell it though as i'm never out there anymore!!
