Private number plate help!
Just wondering if anyone can give me some advice on a private number plate. My Mum got it for her birthday. The number plate has come through but what now......any forms she has to fill in, notify the DVLA of registration change?? Any help would be great as my Mum wants to put it on her car!!
Thanks in advance

If you've had the retention certificate come through (form V778) just take it to your local dvla office along with the car's road tax disc, mot cert & some i.d. (i.d's not always rquired)
If the transfer fee hasnt already been paid you'll have to take £80 with you to transfer the reg over but if you have the retention cert from the DVLA then the fee may have already been paid which means you dont have to pay anything else (check on the form you have V778 to see if it says the the assignment fee has already been paid)
