Default Focus ST170 Window problem

Does anyone know if there is a common fault on ST170's for the driver window to stop opening? I've checked fuses and relays which are all fine.
The passenger side works and from both switches. This only leaves the motor or something thats jammed? Can anyone help?

To rule out the motor being jammed, strip the door card off it till you can see the motor. Press down on the switch and strike the motor with a small/light hammer or pair of grips or something. If it's jammed, this will 99% of the time free it (I get a lot when replacing windows, but usually it's cos they been broken, but worth a shot I reckon)

PM Ian550, we're putting poly windows in the Focos, so I think hes got the window regs sitting in his garage. I'm sure he'd part with one for a few quid
