Default Computer Techies - CCleaner

Guys,

I've just downloaded CCleaner on my laptop and everytime I reboot the machine it removes all of my internet settings i.e. clears recently viewed sites, removes usernames etc.............. whereabouts in settings can I change this ?

Cheers

Thats because it removes cookies in its cleaning process(as default) but you can change almost all the settings so it deletes and doesnt delete exactly what you tell it to

Ok............... it seems as though I've bitten off more than I can chew

I don't like to think of myself as a ''complete'' novice but I'm not exactly a nasa programmer either

Just uninstalled it from my system............... now............ I also downloaded spybot as I was told this was useful..............

Anything I should know about this ?....................... shall I just hit uninstall now what with my ''novice'' status ?

for a home pc you need..the basics

adaware http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-200....html?tag=list

and spybot http://www.download.com/Spybot-Searc....html?tag=list

but be sure before you delete anything..took me 2 hours to make my g/f know how to clean up her pc ..and she still fucks it up

read all the google reports and you will be A OK

its better to learn, than to pay somebody to do it

just take your time

with spybot and adaware you have to update the programs yourself its not auto software

why dont people actually try using HELP files that are bundled with nearly all software. They are there to HELP.

No, thats too much effort.
