Guys how do you find the radar detector on these?

Ive got no complaints about the GPS etc.. but I think the radar is pretty poor.

It doesnt pick up the gatsos until Im literally ontop or already past the camera (not good when its not on the GPS database!)

Where have u guys got u'res mounted?

Mines directly infront of the driving postion stuck on the window just above the wipers.

I'm not going to discontinue using mine, but i find the gps laguey (takes its time sometimes) and the radar unit has apparently lost enthusiasm with time.

When i first got it the display repeatedly read K-Band through towns, now even through city centres like sheffield and birmingham the damn thing doesn't murmour.

Surprisingly, for a Ł500 piece of equipment i'm a little unconvinced.

One thing i will say though. It's worth it simply for specs and specs alone.
