It's not that the Supra isn't fast, it's that the Lambo just looks "slow". However, put in the context you have, you soon realise it only has a power-to-weight ratio of 358bhp per metric tonne, which means that as per usual, the performance that you get from a tuned Cossie always makes you think that with big power out-puts these Supercars have "should" be fast, but in comparison, they're either worse or "not all that" .

But surely you have raced enough supercars in your time Mike to know they not massivley fast compared to tuned cars?
My old Cossie wasnt all that, usual 30psi, greys, T35, etc, but could show a clean pair of heels in a straight line to Ferrari 360s, Diablos, Giffith 500s, etc etc, thats one thing I know for sure.

And I still think he keeps lifting off the throttle too early (IMO), which makes it seem worse than it is .

An LP640 is a 200mph Supercar, I honestly thought it would be faster through the gears, despite him lifting just before or as soon as the Supra goes past in most of the shots .

Really doesn't suprise me that the guy owns both. I have heard of millionaires in some countrys having supercars and also high powered Skylines/Supras etc for street racing/shows etc.

I don't really understand why people are slating the Supra though, looks as if alot of money has been invested into it purely to get it to go as fast as possible. Both nice cars.

It looked to me like they both nailed it at the same time, lambo zoomed off, supra was still spoooling then hit its powerband and surged ahead. therefore, yes i do think he was ahead due to turbo lag.

Mate, if you watch the vids you can hear the Lambo changing down to high revs and fucking off.

You can also hear at that point the Supra isnt revving high.

Case closed, fuck all to do with lag, to do with not even being in the boost threshold.

to me the supra was just noising the boy up? at first when he tried to keep the supra in the right gear the lambo doesnt even get a chance so he then starts to give him a head start each time to show hes just playing with him surely
