Wondered if you could tell me what was used on your nova to run the water pipes front to back? And what have you used to connect them to the engine/rad? Universal rubber connections?
Mine needs it done, just wondering what matierial to use, someone has suggested the decent quality plastic piping from plumbers merchant but iam not sure if that would be strong enough.
But doing it in metal will be expensive and trickier to work with i would have thought. Going to try and tackle the problem this weekend so any other suggestions would be cool!
Also what did you do for speedo?
Cheers!

MAIN thing is give the system effective ways to let any trapped air (which there will be a LOT on that setup, regardless of how you bleed it) escape easily from the rad area back to the header tank.
Or you will have overheating, cold rads and boiling engines, and blown engines.

Mine runs a header tank front and back, in order that I dont get the issues with trapped air that stav mentions.
Its a combination of copper pipe and rubber pipe to get the water to and from the front, and luckily for me that standard water pump in my engine is WELL up to the job.

Thanks guys, twin header tanks sounds like a good idea in which case. Going to try it with the plastic stuff for now, it's cheap enough to at least try.
Also need to get an MOT, so need to sort a handbrake. Planning on using something like Mondeo rear calipers as they have a built in mech for handbrake.
Chip - what did you use and any other issues with the MOT I should consider?
Thanks again
