both made around 600bhp mark - seems simular to me.
Torque is down to cam choice and mapping tho, and not down to the management surely.
As the secs is new and porkies is only one i know that is kinda mapped on it, then it was a fair comparision to the autronic used in rods.
If you all want to gang up on me just cause i asked a few questions then fine...
Lot of fast cars out there don't use autronic also.

think pectel is the prefered option for most people, but simons ecu is about to take off in the ford world then who knows

The ECU does NOT dictate the power gained from an engine.
It is the build of the engine and the ability of the mapper to get the best.
Aftermarket ECU's just provide a user friendly and available to all way of
making these adjustments and allow finer tuning than the originals.

rods engine is completly diff to porkies, as lee and rod will agree
im not saying autronic/secs is the best, just used to acheive what rod wanted etc
i cud have gone pectel t6 if i wanted to, but chose autronic ,
i chose as product had shown its potential as per my link etc etc

If you think that Autronic management gives Rod the 100lbft Torque extra then you know less about engines than me
AND my engine made over 450lbft so you are 'Torquing' COMPLETE bollox as well
NOT taking ANYTHING away from Rods engine though. He loves huge torque engines and Mark has clearly delivered You can't argue with the results either and the fact that it gets used daily

RS Gus I can map any Ecu someone has got in to with writeable software however I choose not to, Being the UK Importer for Autronic it is against my interest to map other Ecu's, Also the Ford market is tiny for me for Autronic I do far more other cars with these units,
As for comparing Ecu's I belive just like Simon that the diff Ecu's we sell are some of the best out there.

pul hills prefers pectel as he knows it well
what i dont understand tbh is why sunny removed his pectel to autronic, surely there the same for use
nit a dig but i always wondered that, doe that mean that pectel wpuld not be efficiant for the high speed runs the mad man likes ( and 178 takes real fooking balls in a nurses car )

Simple q really like a GRP A and an Escort cossie head gasket....paymore for less etc...
