Does The Escort RST Gearbox Have An Oil Drain Plug?
Need to remove my broken gearbox 2day and rather then have gearbox oil pissing out of the sides where the driveshafts go into i was thinking there has to be a drain plug??

As far as I remember, there is another one under that, much not much lower. It's been so long that I have had a drain bung underneath, that I can't really remember. I've got a casing upstairs I think, lemme go look.

Dont think there is mate, am sure the only way to drain the oil from the IB5 boxes is to take a driveshaft out which is always a messy affair !!
I use plastic bungs to stop the remainder of the oil from running out after the shafts are out, very handy and stops getting in a hell of a mess when lifting the box out !!!
