pleased for you mate, we lost one of our cats purly due to old age, and even though that was inevitable it really hurt. well chuffed yours is ok. saw a cat inthe road last night and thought of this thread, turned out it was just being a cocky BSTID HAHAHA and wudnt move until i had to blast the horn LOL!!!i rekn he's one of zebs 'hard nut' relatives

My cat got run over 8years ago
It dragged itself into the garden and my dad heard it crying away, he took it to the vets, it had one of its back legs removed, and after a couple of months of getting used to it seemed to be fine
The aroung 4years later it got phantom pains in its tail from the accident, it started biting its tail chewed it right down to the bone
got a bit of its tail removed also now,
But to this day it lives on it's a gurny bastard of a thing, and has had 2 litters of kittens
And dont think 3legs is a disadvantage, this thing runs faster than any cat I've seen, but drifts on corners depending on which way they go though

tis bonus_boy on em mates account...
well hes had his op today and hes fine, had his pelvis pinned back on and his left leg sorted, but found out that his right leg is broke aswell which the xrays didnt show, but there doing that next week but all is well and hes on the mend!!!!!

I came across a dead cat in the middle of the road the other week, everyone was just driving round it so I blocked the traffic, picked it up and put it to the side. Upset me for the rest of the day, poor little bastid.

On a similar note, me and my other half were coming back from the Trafford center last year and the traffic was backed up, we found out why, there was a rabbit in the middle of the road, sitting in the middle of the white lines in the middle of the road, everyone else was driving past, we decided to stop and move it, anyway, a local farmer turned up and said that it had myxamatosis (sp) and he would put it out of its misery (it was bleeding from its nose and rear) and although i knew it was the best thing to do in the long run, it really upset both of us for a long time after, it was only a young rabbit and it seemed so sad.
Anyway, glad your little cat is on the mend!!!!

glad to hear hes pulled through! when I was on holiday I seen at cat that had been ran over by a tram... it wasn't a pretty sight I just hoped the owner didn't live near by!

heard from the vets today...
getting better and hes putting weight on they said..hope they dont charge more for all the food lol...
there sorting his right leg out early next week so hopefully we get him back late next week

It Wasnt Me!
Saw a dog on m/way tonight on way home from work literally right after it had been hit, nearly went over it myself as thot it was just a poly bag till I got closer...big white german shepherd...real shame was shocked saw the guy had pulled onto the hard shoulder further along...irresponsible owners no doubt, waste of a good dog 
hope he done the right thing an notified the Poli

good news...
we can pick him up today.. between 2-4pm so il be there just before 2
he cant walk about very well but still hes home!
we have still got to take him back now and then for check ups etc and has got to go back there in a week or so for his right leg...
cant wait!!!
will get some pics of him when he gets home
