my brother and best mate are currently travelling in south america and will be in cancun for spring break...kinda tempted to go see them.

i asked an american friend of mine what spring break was actually like and here are her exact words:

Doesnt matter where you stay on the main straight as theres busses every 5mins,, and it costs you about 20p iirc,,, the bus drivers are crazy bastards

ok of that map all teh night life is on the top right corner.

thats like the townh centre with all the bars, clubs and restaurants.
there is a shopping centre there too aswell as a few dotted along the road going all the way along the right hand side.

like said above there are loads of buses and they are dirt cheap and quick.
taxis are cheap too.

cant tell u exactually when spring break is but i went last year in may and it was pretty busy.
mainly americans but quite a few british too.

its not quite like places like malia kos etc. but still a great holiday with some amazing clubs.

when u go to the club u pay to get in and all the drinks are free. it was about 15 quid to get in i think but cant remember.

go to coco bongo when ur there. the main night was a sunday when i was there but that may have changed.

and br prepared to put up with loads of very loud screaming american girls, and you will hear some of them talk about nothing but rap music.
