Default Intel processors

Is it the general consenous that the higher the number the better the performance?

I.e. T2350 better than T2310

Are the core 2 better T5250?

The one in that Amazon link is decent, has a very good processor

Personally i wouldnt buy anything other than core 2 duo

I mean if your just after a simple laptop, that will just browse the net and use msn etc, then normal dual core would do you, but if you want a half decent one go for core 2 duo

How much you looking at spending?

Ebuyer have some good ones http://www.ebuyer.com/cat/Laptops/su...l---Core-2-Duo

Sounds like you will be needing a core 2 duo and i would get 2GB of ram aswell especially if the laptop runs vista, if its xp you could get away with 1GB of ram.

Have a look through the ones in the link but i think your looking at Ł450 for a nice speedy one
