I take it you have a diesel engine fitted then, as it must only be able to rev to 5500rpm to achieve 120mph on 3.9 final drive and 225/45x15s .

 

Why is it running greys with a t3?

 

Because it probably had a T34 on, but when the enegine shat itself to have the required engine rebuild, the owner probably only had a T3 kicking around . Either that or it ran high compression and a huge boost spike at low rpm in a previous life, so needed the fuel safety margin these injectors provide.

Why is the cage awful? Its there to do a job...you wernt allowed weld in cages when this started life....so its a proper spec cage....cant be any less safe than the weld in ones.

Mike Rainbird..thats what he told me..but thinking on i was doin 50mph in top gear at 2000rpm according to the follower who speed trapped me ..also the car has only ever run the t3 as it was mapped for that with the 34mm restrictor...yes greys is an odd choice but then it was 1994 and runs fine...so less of the assumptions mr rainbird.

I had a PROPER Ford motorsport shell with PROPER Ford motorsport cage as per the build manual.

It was older than your car, FIA approved, and weld-in.

..well plans are maybe a blow over depends how it cleans up..then graphics...general tidy up...get some more proper grp a parts on it..power wise probably just add anti lag with a grp a T34 with a MASSIVE mid range spike.. oh and some 18 inch mags
