Im an "England Fan" member and have been to every match at the new wembley. No way would i drive as it would be a nightmare unless you have VIP parking there.
I personally get the train from Beaconsfield (just off the M40) and it takes you straight to wembley. There is also a tube station near the ground aswell.

I am an England Fans member and went to a few games last year and going in by train is the biggest pain in the arse. Im coming from East london and its jubilee all the way accross and getting to Wembley park from the ground after a game takes sodding ages. Next time i go up im going to drive and try and find somewhere to park in the area and walk.

train to Liverpool st then Met line to wembley park
edit to say obviously you can drive to stations on the live closer and park there before getting the train into Liverpool St
