Default Nankang Tyre's

Looking at getting some new tyre's for my Xr3i, was looking at some Nankang tyres but heard nankang tyre's are useless?

What would the best tyres be otherwise?

Cheers

If you want cheap have a look at Kumho.... my mate used to swear by Nankang... but now he's moved to Kumho or Cooper tyres..

I've used Kumho's on a car... they were a good tyre and for £220 for a set of 4 225/40/18s, it was a bargain too!

Nankangs were designed for you to put on a car your selling to someone you dont like,
Probably one of the best ways of killing someone and getting away with it

i had alot of problems with nankangs on 215 35 18's, they always blister and blow out on the inside edge when they are a few months old. and as said above, grip in the wet is poor.

i had some kumho's blister aswell but they do last a bit longer than nankang.

kumho's arent too bad, but i find they give quite a harsh ride compared to toyo.

i had khumo's on the saph and, in the dry under proper hard braking, they produced enough grip to sound like they were skidding, even with no abs but this was about 10-12 years ago
