sapphire 4x4 poor starting

Default sapphire 4x4 poor starting

My 92/J plate sapphire (green top engine) just doesnt like starting hot or cold, it usually takes a good while of turnin it over to start and this usually involves it catchin...then dying again

any ideas? its just 2 of my mates have 2wds and they start on the button everytime....its gettin a little embarassin

i've put plugs in her and i'm waitin on a new dizzy cap and rotor arm coming

What kind of servicing has it had?
Think it's probably a sensor, like coolant temp sensor, but proper diagnostics should tell you.

The best thing you can do to a cossie is replace ALL sensors if there is no record of it being done lately

Thats what i did when i bought mine ..................maybe costs a small fortune but worth every penny
