Default PS3 Problem

my cousin has just bought a PS3 and has been trying top set it up to play online via wireless sky broadband but instead of just automatically completing the setup like mine did its been asking him for info such as IP etc anybody else had problems with this or know what to do??

he has been told it could be the firewall in his router if so does anybody know how to diable it

the ps3 mate

the router will then issue you all the details, i.e. ip address, gateway, dns, and subnet mask

you will just need to tell the ps3 the router name(ssid) and the wireless key (password)

yeah you just type in the number from your sky card, thats all i did iirc.

where do you find that section on the PS3
