I have a friend who works for a rewspected dragster builder.

He said Safety devices and OMP are a bargain for what you get for road cars.

One off stuff is different obviously.

i would think the price is about Ł1500 easy to do a cage like that.

Why do you want just a rear cage?


If you plan on tracking the car, go for a full 6 point

You want to buy one then mate...

omp, safety devices etc..

If you want a rear cage that is weld in you can buy the parts from customcages.. buy the main hoop and the diagonals around the Ł300 mark then get welded together.

how much around to 2nd hand 6point cages cost?

how much modifing do i need to do though? cut the dash etc?

If you look around then you may get a bargin all depends tbh

I dont like the cages that come down in front of the dash (easy to hit you knee ect in a crash or gettting in and out

For my cossie i have a 6 point Roll centre cage with goes in behind the dash (ie you have to cut the dash) and looks nicer imo (2nd hand i paid Ł400 which was a good price as it was like new

Not that hard to fit once you work out who i goes into the car or tho i cracked my wind screen twise (and im not the only one others i know have to all on cossie's )

Last 2nd hand 6 pt RST cage I had was Ł200 quid I think... but now track type cars are all the rage... maybe more.

At that price its not worth fucking about.
