Off to Prague in a few weeks...anyone been
Off to Prague in a few weeks with my good lady, Sister and Brother in law......should be a good weekend i think.
Will be armed with the camera aswell so im sure there will be a few good shots coming back....people say it is awesome for pictures
Anyone been...where to go ect

In the day go see the castle (biggest in Europe IIRC), see the bridge and the Jewish square.
In the night, For clubbing go to Lavka, Duplex or Karlovy. For girls go to Goldfingers, Atlas, Darling, Captain Nemo or Desire.
I went with a Bird about 3 years ago, she kept leading me into different strip clubs then into a 'proper' place, LOL!!!

Went a coupl of years ago with a mate. Just a mega cheap 4 days away. Didnt go for the drinking/clubs but there are plenty about in the 'New town' area if thats what you are after.
The 'old town' part is more restaurants/outdoor seating for drinks/food.
Loads of places to go and see Castle,Cathedral,charles bridge,Petrin Hill & Observation Tower etc etc.

My mate bought a guide book and we just got up, picked somewhere to go and set off.
You are right about plenty of things to take pics of - i came back with 100's.

Superb place but dont buy drink in the main square, very expensive
You Must visit the castle in the day it's worth paying for the full hit but warn the lady's it's a long walk
Also walk over the bridge at night then hit the cocktail bars, There are lots of hidden gems in prague, We stumbled upon a cocktail bar set in a cave, it had exotic fish under the flor and played mad drum and bass
Be very careful of the pickpockets if you use the public transport and in general TBH as the place is full of them
Enjoy

Went there a couple of months ago, a lot dearer than it used to be (went a couple of years back as well). Be careful what strip bars you go to, even some of the mainstream ones can be dodgy. Also always stay in smallish groups, NEVER on your own, even if its just to go to a cashpoint or something, some very odd charactors out there!!
You'll love it though!! Birds are fit as fook, food is good etc etc.....

There are plenty of little restaurants hidden just outside of the main places. You just need to look for them. I remember going to one place called KOGO. Looks proper posh setup, great food and not expensive at all.
Some of the tours are pretty good too when you get a big crowd.

i can also recommend the Duplex club in wencleslas square it is totally awesome
ignore any people in the streets (mainly on evenings) trying to persuade you to come to a pub/club because its so cheap etc
i enjoyed prague but had to be double careful all the time for scammers. even the hotel we stayed in (which was decent standard) robbed fags and english money (just shrapnel) from my bag when i left it in their reception on the last day.
be careful with taxi's and all the usual stuff you take for granted.

It's not as rough as people say - gypo's at night time, come feeling you up, just tell them no, all they're after is the money in your pockets, but if your lucky you might get a free wank
Czech girls - Oh my, every one of them is HOT. All got perfect bums, and the most amazing eyes. I'm not talking prostitutes, I'm talking everyday czech birds.
Czech people - they hate the english, and can be quite arrogant sometimes. A couple of occassions we were lost, and needed a bit of direction, we weren't being loud or louts, just being polite and they don't what to know. Saying that, there were some lovely czech people too, very friendly.
Beer - Pilsner Urquell is lovely, not one hang over all holiday. Prices veried, cheapest we found was about Ł1 a pint. I'm not complaining.....
Americans - it's full of them studying, and they're all lovely too. Most nights we met different sets, some from CA, some from NY..... We all have bad teeth, eat crumpets, and love the tea. I patted a girl from NY on the arse - "You touched my fanny

We found a little bar near Karlovy Lazne that sold us cheap beer, and had Agwa. Never ever seen it before, but it's made from Coca Leaf (the stuff cocaine comes from!) 40grams per litre. Anyway, out came the shots, and a mirror with lines on (cocaine? ) turns out it was lime sherbert.. Sucked up the sherbert and downed the shot. Nothing happend for about 10 minutes then we all went red hot. Fucking ace. So good, we had another 4!
Karlovy Lazne - We were at this club every night. Thursday, friday, saturday and sunday. Never got in until after 5, won many "dance offs" and generally made everyone love English people It's a fucking grotty club, but was great fun. 5 floors, loads of different music. Beer was just over a Ł1.
Food - every meal we had was fantastic.
Loads more to say, but I'll fill in some more gaps when I remember.

Didn't go to ANY strip clubs - few of the lads did, but it's just too fucking seedy!
Met a few americans, got into one of them for a night but no friction occured just kissing!
Got a few numbers and contact details which was OK.
They fucking love English once you get talking to them.

I went last year with the lads and was a great few days my mates all went it the strip clubs but i didnt 
found a few to be very dear and a bit seedy, you better of eating out the square as its quite dear in the centre walk to the outskirts and its cheaper
