mk4 and mk3 2door sheel difference?
im thinking of doing a mk4 to mk3 conversion and doing a series 1 turbo replica, just wondering what is dif and wat i will need to change apart from the front panel wings scuttle etc?? (i cant afford a rs turbo so doing a replica is the next best thing lol)

wouldent bother, by a cheap rs turbo either mk3 or mk4 and restore her , thats what id do anyway., can even buy a shell off here for a couple hundred quid.

I think the rear panel is different.
The towing eye is in a different place and the rear lights are different. front panel and scuttle as you mentioned.
Doors are different internally and you'll need to change the boot to fit a s1 spoiler correctly as s2 boot lids have a raised section on the outer edge

cheers chaps, yes the rear panel is different and the lights grill and all that malarky dno will see what happens will just have a good think

All that plus tons of little details that you wouldn't think of til you go to fit the said bit and it doesn't fit
Far easier to start with a base model MK3 than convert a Mk4, even when considering the extra rot they usually have....
