..i meant BTW i would stick to RHD only...as i'd only consider a WRC lhd car...which were entered in WRC rallys so must have been a WRC Saff

All the Sierra Cosworths that were run in world rally championship events were either group A or group N.

.....another Cossie
Phil, I think you might be getting confused with The WRC (World Rally Championship,) and a World Rally Car... (as in the spec' WRC(ar), Group A, Group N)

There was a unused shell 3 miles down the road from me at a car breakers,he bought it as a spare when did rallying.
Totally bare shell though, with the full proper cage.
Did see it on E-Bay a couple of months ago with starting price of Ł2000,didn't sell
What would it be worth?????????

Ford Motor Co never entered a saff in the WRC (WORLD RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP) they were sierras all of them.
there were Gp A RHD SIERRAS that did the WORLD RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP
the one Colin drove was by RED and my mate now owns it.
it was not a works drive but had some financial backing.

After Colin drove it, it was repaired and was for sale in the Motoring
News for 75,000 gbp, it has been solely on the front cover of the MN
and was the first Group A Ford Sierra Cosworth 4x4 to win a International
event for Ford.
the guy who owns it did bodywork for RED (Rally Engineering Development) back then and still does today.
that car still has the trophys it won.
i don't think it will ever be for sale as my mate knew Colin,Jimmy and
Alister and its got too much sentimental history for him.
it also is signed by Russell and Neil who first drove it
nice one Patsy i'll have to copy the pic for him
