mf2 5th injector driver
No, as it cant control ignition timing, and the "mapping" is just a crude set of dials, its "ok" for sorting out your fuelling, but its never going to be considered ideal for anything.
Ideal would be putting it on Pectel T6!

Cressy, I have used these multiple times on Saxo/106 Supercharger conversions and whilst they are "crude"(easy to setup in my opinion) they were pretty reliable for me.
If you have ever seen the Saxo v's M3 video on Youtube we built the car as a demo and it was mapped with an MF2 and 2 extra injectors, with another unit to fool the stock ECU and it ran for 15k miles with over 220bhp at wheels, done multiple 160mph runs(on long ratio box) and too many to count 140mph runs(short box) and believe me the owner ABUSED the car. His first charger gave up after 2 weeks when he done 25 miles on motorway at 135mph which was around 7000rpm so charger was spinning at over 110000rpm hahaha
The other cars we done weren't treated any better.
So if you have everything else working and just need the extra fuel I would say go for it.
Obviously an EFi system would be better but it should at the cost.
You set the map points by turning 6-7 pots on the board and they go from 2000rpm-8000rpm if I remember right, it then fills in the rest of the range itself. We mapped with narrow band but had it checked on rollers normally too. With wideband you would be laughing.

Change the management, if its not up to the task you car requires
Although EFI would be better than a fifth injector, its still a very cost effective conversion compared to an engine rebuild.
Once you exceed the fuelling or any other capability's of an ECU you should start to consider an alternative management system rather than try to work around these limitations imho with a fifth injector and similar
I don't personally believe you can do things well with champagne idea's and lemonade budget, if you want a good reliable power you have to be willing to spend the money to obtain this.
champagne idea's and lemonade budgets are the reason there are so many ropey and unreliable modified cars out there imho

would love cossie managment but car`nt afford it so looking for other ways toget a good relieable 240/270bhp
i think everyone would love a never ending budget but i`m not that lucky
all input welcome more options the better.and if people have any parts for sale pm me with what you`v got and price

Superb bit of kit, can control upto 4 injectors, giving fully interpolated 3D mapping of fuel. Much cheaper than EFi, and you retain the transient fuel control of KE Jet, which few mappers will get right on efi.
Ignition control is still limited to advancing the whole curve with the dizzy, but ideal for a 280hp CVH.

THEY DON`T DO THEM EITHIER
If fitted with a map sensor, the mf2 can be setup for different boost's, but the disssy will still need to be setup up each time for each boost to get the best results.
Pointless using a narrow band.
