i can't afford to fix things when they brek on my cars
so i tend to wait until i can afford the best replacement and then go from there

obviously with the growth of the internet and the ease at which peole can get creidit i can now spalsh out on things like fuel pumps etc for the mondeo to get me going even at Ł254 but i had to save like a miser for my quiafe box, whihc now i'm finding out might not be as good as it could have been so perhaps i'll break it before i get a chance to actually use the thing (it lasted 3 weeks, whihc was much better than the 23 miles the one about 3 boxes before lasted )

mind you, it held up well down southend last night

Im only on my 4th diff now, in 2 years, but its been off the road for half of that

found a man local who reckons he can build a diff for 300 quid that will be as strong as a quaife... i think i should get one to road test timmy style

i watched the rerun of james may driving the veroyn on topgear he said it takes that car 270bhp to do 155mph but 1000 bhp to do the 253mph which is crazy as i remember rod saying at our meet that to do 180mph isnt that hard but to go past that is where the time and effort and money comes into it

Charlie Chalk I think there is mate considering the braking was pretty dodgy and going straightt to ABS the second i pushed the peddle giving no brake feel and making judging how quick I was stopping pretty hard.

Also maybe a wee bit extra at the start as it was wheel spinning right thru 3rd and some of 4th.

Yeah i was pretty chuffed to see alomost 185 on my first run this year.

It wasnt ideal condtions this year but I think it went quite well considering the power etc
