NOT to be confused with the film "The Day After Tomorrow" - which is a totally different film alltogether

Anyone who is interested in the Nuclear stuff that has promoted a lot of talk lately needs to see this film.

I have had it on DVD for ages but never watched it, untill this morning - what an awesome film

Basically, it is a drama about the consequences of a superpower nuclear attack in the USA. The story follows a couple of charactors right from the first notion of war untill the full blown bombing - with some excellent effects for a film made 6 or so years ago

Well worth the 2 hours the film runs for

i watched it years ago when it first came out and everyone was shitting themselves incase a n. bomb did go off.

It's a horrific film, but shows a true point in what would happen. The effects are fantastic.

there was another film of the same name in the early 80's which was released at the same time as the british tv film threads, there were a few posts on here about it last week
