focus rs ABS - light wont go off

Default focus rs ABS - light wont go off

help the focus is due to go for its m.o.t but the light wont go off dont flicker, dont go on then off, it just stays on


.....ive tried everything obvious, fluid, the ABS sensor cables, tried resetting it by leaving the battery off for a day...even bled all the brakes, but still nothing

any ideas guys?

needs to go on a computer i think matey and see whats causing it

need to see what DTC it throws up so you can solve the problem. without that its just pissing in the wind really. have you got bluefin or dreamscience?

Also let me just check whether the focus dash can tell you what DTC is present.

*EDIT* don't think it does but here's the dash unlock thing you can do:

With your key in the ignition push the trip reset button and hold it down, turn your key to ignition on (all lights illuminated on clocks ) and wait for the word TEST to come up on the LCD display and then release the button, then you can scroll through a menu.

no bluefin or science ....yet

tried the trip but nout

There appear to be 4 fuses connected with the ABS.

F21
F11
both in Battery junction box (engine bay)

F46
F42
both in Central junction box (glovebox)

Bit of a trek from castleford

Try abs rings on shafts??

Cheapest option is a code read will cost you about £30, then you will know where to look.
