Default is there a way to trace a trader who doesnt regsiter on the

As title, when a trader gets a car, is it correct that they dont go on the log book? and if so is there a way to trace them? as there must be a record somewhere?

the seller is supposed to fill in the yellow part and send it to dvla to state they have sold it to trade......

but a lot of people dont bother

if the yellow slip has been completed on the V5 and sent to the DVLA once the car is sold to a trader, then yes the DVLA keep those records. Most people dont bother tho
