I have now owned the saff for the last 6 months and had no probs with it the only things i have had to do was a split cv boot and had to tighting up the turbo which came loose.
I can honestly say i thought i was going it get loads of probs owning a cosworth.
Are they not as bad as i thought or am i just lucky waiting for something to go wrong ?
thats the only major thing really, got mine Motd today without any hassle so that was good news. Only thing is, the other one that the engine blew was motd just before it went so i hope i dont have repeat performance with this one
Had mine a year and only had a driveshaft, it was VERY reliable and i used it everyday, the b8stard that had it after me hit a lamppost sideways 2 weeks after buying it and now its gone...........
In the first 6 months of my old Saph I didn't really have to spend much at all.. new sump (threaded) and a general tune-up to solve some cold start issues and that was it!!!
A week did you get any help sorting it off the pervous owner
no chance, all his fault too, sold me a pack of lies with the car was a supposedly freash engine , was it bollocks.....didnt have half the things he said it did either, like gpA gasket etc.
Nothing major in the last 6 months, although I have just checked and have spent around Ł8000 in 5 years of ownership.
Thats on spares/repairs and upgrading.

Nope, you have a nice condition car thats looked after and is low spec and state of tune
most of the problems come when cars are poorly modded, and not looked after OR taken to extreme levels or tune or hammered around tracks!
Or have me behind the wheel!
lewis your staying in the pass seat
porkie 320 bhp is plenty of fun at the moment just hope i don`t get the urge for more
changeing the t3 i have at the moment for a t28 so should put even less strain on the engine
