Which is the exact reason I don't go out to pubs on NYE
Packed, always full of pissed up cunts (more so than a usual weekend night) and even the crappy pubs want to CHARGE you for the PRIVILAGE to coming in? I think not
Friend of mine works in a pub and his closes NYE between 6 and 8pm a) to fully stock the bar, b) give the staff a break, and c) pubs shutting between this time is supposed to try and kerb all day drinkers by "cutting them off" so to speak - of course all they do is go to the offy and stock up on cheap cans and get plastered before going back in the pub
