I think you will find that it is £90 a hour for rolling road tuning I had my car set up there recently and it was very reasonably priced for the service

you pay for what you get mate.

TOTD are amazing. anything chris todd doesn't know about an rst isn't worth knowing. he really is the rst king.

the work i have had done there has always been 1st class.

i think it is 90ph rollingroad time and 50ph for mechanical work.

No,they are completely different In your first post you state 'want to get my rs escort s2 tuned.' You could take it to any competent garage to have this carried out, whereas if you had said 'want to get my rs escort s2 rolling road tuned.' then people know exactly what you want I am recommending TOTD as someone else did,but its down to you where you go,lets just hope that the place that is half price do not take twice as long to tune it...lol

They will assess your current set up and then make adjustments to get the best from what you got.If everything is in good order then the rolling road is the best way to go for a initial set up,as it saves so much time compared to a road set up and also small gains can be seen instantly.

£90 per hour is not a bad price for rolling road labour!

a rolling road tune at Powers is £125 + vat, but an rst normally takes longer than an hour to tune

I was also of the opinion that you could not live map MFI RST's due to the limitations of the ECU, I could be wrong though.

Do you know anyone who live maps MFI RS Turbos ?

How about Engine Advantages just up the road?

At £10,000 per half hour (+vat) by the time they have destroyed your engine, it has to be the quickest way of getting rid of your engine and all its internals down the exhaust pipe.

............probably all major tuners.....,but Grove in Essex are a cert........edited to say......on a mfi car u can only map the ignition system and up the fuel pressure to suit.....on a efi u can fully map both, it's nothing to do with the ecu's..hope this helps
