I have a SONY DCR-HC30E.
NEVER AGAIN would I buy a SONY, repaired 4 times in 7 months, the last repair lasted till just 2 weeks out of warranty, never had been repaired correctly, so now left with SONY saying nothing to do with us, and a dud camcorder!!
It is a pity as it really is a cracking piece of kit when going right, and had I not had a bad experience would defo have got another SONY when needed.

The quality is amazing but to be honest my digital still camera is as good.
I have a FUJI FINEPIX S 9600, it can hold over 1 hour recording no problem making my camcorder obsolete!!
