interesting that it uses the standard air box and not some massive bling cone effort.

Standard airbox is better for cars running big boost.

Looks tidy considering what it's been through, and how long ago!

Is this the one that was on that sierra programme on men and motors the other day? Looks like it, and if it is that one, its not original unfortunatly. I think they said it was owned by someone in japan before and was raced in different colours, then bought by someone over here who restored it back to how it was.

Yes it was definalty the one on men and motors then. Nice collection. How much would that labatts one be worth then.

I don't think it's road legal as it's a genuine Touring Car.

owed it for nearly five years

done some research and travelled to swizerland to meat rudi eggenberger (eggenberger motorsport)

me and a friend had lunch with him and had the factory tour

very little done there these days and its very quiet with only two full time mech working there now

in its peek he had 20 people plus!

with four ramps and two dyno rooms

with not useing the car and having lots of other race cars

i was offered 50k for it so it was sold

the new owner collects and sells race cars has millions of pounds at his disposal and sells the for a good profit or stores them away as a future investment.

this was the highlight for me

organising the 500 touring cars for the RSOC

with me supplying three cars for drivers

tim harvey drove my labatts RS500 car ( his old btcc car)

rob gravett drove my ex rouse/moffat ANZ RS500

sean walker drove my eggenberger RS500 ETCC CAR

not to menchion all the others we managed to get there that great day.

this is still my best one

That was a normal sierra cosworth track car built to a high spec by a friend of mine who used the labatts livery on it

and it wasn't the brakes on fire

Nice to see it getting its service when required

I hope your keeping the service book up to date

You know selling a car like that needs FSH and previous MOT"s
