buying an imported car ??
when buying a fresh import from a garage, do they have to change the speedo to MPH and send it for an sva?
what do they have to do legally?
what do they have to do legally?

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
dont hold me too it but i dont think it has to be converted to mph , it may have to show mph on the speedo but the main (larger outer) numbers can still be kph and the mileometer will also still be km's
p.s if its build date is early 1998 then wait until early 2008 , so much easier and cheaper !

Whoever registers it will have to sort out SVA if under 10years old (worth waiting a few weeks to avoid it) plus MOT, or if over 10yrs just MOT.
MPH have to be readable on the speedo, doesn't matter inner or outer band.
Rear fog will be needed, possibly lighting and other mods depends where it came from.
