The turbo is rated to 800 I think as is everything else on the car( exhuast,intercooler etc) but its still in build up just now.
Its been a very long and complicated process, I have tons of pics but want to wait til its up and running before posting anymore

Euan you couldnt get near me in my evo 6 with 306 ATW on the back roads.... The straights were a different matter once you got grip 
I'd put money on the evo if he can drive it.

Aye no too bad mate just taking it easy and keeping myself busy as well.
Not been to falkirk for a while... got fed up of it to be honest. Its no fun in a normal car!!

Yeah it was him Chop.
The other one, a P1 has been done for a while although not to such a high spec( still makes 485 on a DD tho)
Regarding the black one the build didnt start til the start of the yearand the power figs being mentioned as "possible" are just mental and would rather wait until its all up and running and making some boost before sticking them up here

Hi guys, thanks for the mixed comments on the car!
Me and the Mrs (She runs an Evo IV) have had a few fordies too between us, Fiesta RST + RS1800, Puma, Escort and Sapph 4x4 Cossies, so you won't get any disrespect here guys.
Yeah it should be pretty close with the two. Paul (Neverneverman) on the MLR has a very similar spec to me, on VP he did 568 atw on a DD, so given the 50-60bhp drop going back onto SUL, yeah it should be right on the money between the two.
I've just had a quick scan through the thread, so I'll try and answer as many that I can remember for now. Any more, fire away!
1. The pics Euan put up was when the car was 1st built 3 years ago, even the bumper and mesh on the intercooler wasn't painted in one of the pics if you look close!
2. Intercooler is totally different now as you'd expect (g'reddy number)
3. The carbon roof isn't too much about the actual weight it saves, more about where it saves it from, i.e. highest point of the car, so it lowers the centre of gravity and roll centre of the car.
4. Yes it now has lexian windows
5. The dyno was done exhaust/intercooler/etc in situ
6. The car runs a full suite of Ralliart diffs throughout. The rear is RS type, so no AYC. The suspension is well capable (coilovers/arbs/polybushed). Brakes are AP 6 Pots with R888 tyres.
7. I'm not bad behind the wheel of it...
8. Final map still to be finished on the road.
9. Bang on Euan, 640.3 on SUL to be exact!
10. AVA holds no fears, I know what the engine makes, so whatever it does on their rollers, that's what it does, pure and simple!
It's not a competition. I've had the chance to build MY idea Evo, which I hope I've done. It's just great and exciting to be up here right now with quite a few people with projects coming together right now. They're all pretty nippy, so it'll be good to get a few together and see what's what.
Regardless of the outcome, I'm happy with it, which is the main thing.

Shotpeened standard ratio 5 speed GSR box.
Best spread of ratios, and since I don't do 1/4's or launch it, it should be ok with regular oil changes.

Black STI is just mental, wouldnt believe how much work/time has went into that exhaust!
Chip sais the evo would have it on the twisties, maybe on grip...what about turbo lag on both cars, response etc?
