I REALLY don't think thats true.
Slower for the 1/4 at lower terminal and slightly faster accelerating I would say.

How is it people like Smit can get 0-60 in 3.9 and 12.6 1/4mile at 110mph with a mere 340bhp.
surely a 400bhp escos is capable of 3.5 and a low 12 pass?

Look at the times TIB posts and his is RWD 3DR..
0-60 in under 4sec, 11 sec quarters.

smit is awesome at launching mate! but dont think that things dont break either
i know dan(yap)in his saff at 350ish did a 12.47 down the quarter.he is also an immense launcher!
what you have to bear in mind though is the higher the bhp the more difficult to put it down and the higher the chance of busting bits due to the power going through.

as said,,, smit and lee are fucking MENTAL at launching,,, smit also likes going fast too as i remember him passing me on the way to ford fair YEARS ago before who i knew he was at,,,,, well i was doing just over a ton and he passed me as if it was a plane,,,,,, it just roared past at a fucking pace
