the teaser pic looks awesome! got my fingers crossed that they dont fuck this one up. I think they should re-unite with cosworth again. Imagine how many they'd sell..

Love how the mention of a new RS has several people walking down to their local ford dealer with their cocks twitching over it all.
I love the picture of it. have Ł500 spare in my wage at the end of the month. tempting! 
Im just worried that it will be a slightly faster st with some new wheels and a bodykit
I personally think it will need 300bhp min and 4x4. the current st is billed as the vxr/gti/225 competitor so the rs will be pitched in the eyes of most car mags against the new impreza and evo, now how will it turn out as they have an extra year or so to perfect it as the impreza is just launched and the evo is either been or about to be launched.
just my opinion though
also to any potential buyers who currently own a cossie of some shape. will the focus replace said cossie or join it in the garage??

Im going to dealers tomorrow to put deposit down... oddly enough i agreed with the missus that we should get a new car in 2009... If she thinks im buy a mini she can fook right off

imo ford are playing with fire on this!this car is going to be one hell of a car!look at everyone wetting their pants all ready!i think it will just be a ST with a few adjustments!(i hope not tho!)if they do make it 4x4 i think it still will be no where near as good as a evo 9 etc

Thing is is it going to be a decent 4wd system? I mean most of the new stuff seems to be this FWD, then if traction goes, stick some drive to the rear etc.. Like the haldex system.
I'd love the RS marque to come back blazing, but with the way cars are produced these days it'll just be the same as a certain volvo or something.

It's a tweaked and tarted up ST according to Ford.... im not even aware of a 4x4 ST, you can't really claim as a manufacturer to base a 4x4 car on a 2wd shell
