Default Best place for clear side repeaters?

Ive had some clear sides on for a couple of years now but the passenger one has got water droplets inside it and it looks shit, so im wanting another one but ill probably have to buy a set of two wont i? if so wheres the cheapest place?

Couoldn't you take it off and dry it over night, put a bit of vaselene on the rubber seal and refit ?

Dave i really mean droplets insides, as if its been dunked into the sink pulled out and refitted it wont dry over night i wouldnt have thought

And what would the vaselene do?

cheap ones..! ived brought loads off ebay and places and they turn green and get water in them best off just spending a bit extra and get ford ones there not that much dearer. i just paid Ł7.70 for focus ones fron graham goode delivered

Ive never used Ebay mate, ive had these 2 years almost, pretty sure i got them from Motorworld.
Drivers side one is fine so doesnt that tell me its something to do with the seal rather than the actual repeater?

Actually will focus ones slot into mine? or is it a different fitting for the older fords

Focus ones are different if there for the gti, I bought smoked ones off ebay look much nicer imo

Got any pics of the smoke ones?

I was just thinking Ford dealers wont have clear/smoked mk6 Escort repeaters will they because they came with orange as standard?

If you heat up a pin with a blowtorch and then make a hole with it in the bottom edge of the lens it stops this 100%, it's what I do.

i used to be a member on one of the only UK GTi sites about 2 years ago but unfortunatly the site went down and lost over half the members made new site but only half rejoined which was a shame, it was like a ghost town so i stopped going on there

Martin that name rings a bell, it was the site i was on years ago, he should have told you about the site going down and then the new address and nobody knowing the new site addy apart from a select few of us
