Whats a ghoster?
I used to quite like nights. Did nights when I did site security and when I worked for Safeway.
Safeway was hard work and cos you indoors in a lit building you didn't really realise it was night, but security was often outside in security huts etc. Boring as a shit, but cos it was relaxed and chilled, it was quite cool. I could do a lot of reading, watch films, playstation etc... But it was quite relaxing really

I used to do them all the time Security shifts were 7am to 7pm, and 7pm to 7am, so I'd often be on 24hr shifts.... Did a shit load of 36hrs shifts too, most of the time cos other cunts didn't turn up
One of my sites was great. Used to turn up 7pm Friday night, and work solid till 7am Monday morn, then have rest of the week off Office building reception, had TV, warmth, computer, canteen (okay it was closed, but I could use the fridge, microwave, cooker etc) and a Petrol station virtually next door - couldn't ask for more!!!

Little brother does nights, and gets paid a fortune.
I'd only do them for serious money.
Did hear working nights was as bad for you as smoking - something to do with body designed to sleep when dark.

Well I (technically) work non stop apart from one weekend every 2 weeks doing heavy recovery during the M1 roadworks J6-10, some days I can be out for 24hours a day if theres loads of HGV's broken down although i've had times where i've not had anything to do for a week at a time!

I work 2 shifts of each in my typical week, 6-2, 10-6am and 2-10pm...
e.g. this week im working mon and tues: 6-2pm, weds and thurs:10-6am, friday sat and sunday 2-10pm. 2 days off then back 6-2pm and it all starts again. What ever shift friday falls on i have 3 of them.
