Any Viirus scans available online i.e to download
Anyone got any good links to free virus scans on the internet my computer is filled with rubbish i want to remove.

lol me and thrush went for the online one because he said "online" and "on the internet" so we gave him an online scanner, if you meant Anti virus then yes get AVG, infact what id do is use that online scanner first and remove any shit it finds, then if you dont have a decent AV(you obviously dont if your pc is filled with shit) then download AVG update it and then run a full scan which will take 20-30mins

These are good my comps got rid of enough shit include loads of torgents
But knwo each time i go on a site AVG comes up with remove virus or something can i do this automatically and insists i restart my computer.
Also while im at how can i find specs of my laptop that im using i.e hard drive capacity and also memory etc etc

About the laptop specs, right click on "my computer" then go to "properties" and then theres the specs of the processor and how much ram.
To find out how much hard drive space, double click "my computer" icon, find the hard drive icon and click once and on the left it should say how much free space you have and the capacity, for a more detailed view right click on the hard drive icon and select "properties" and there you go
Thats for windows xp by the way, if you have vista then the above will be incorrect, let me know if you have vista

AVG Is shit hot and free - be sure to disable daily scan though it's a pain in the arse
