It'd be stupid and pointless to put a YB in that. Especially when you can get a 350bhp-ish V8 crate motor for about 3-4 grand.

Why on earth would you want to put a 2.0 cossie motor in, instead of a 6 litre or bigger v8 that will easily fit?

Would make a 500bhp YB feel SO slow putting it in that old barge

no the main reason for cossi-ing it is that the parts are so much easier to get.. look at the state of that car, most of it will need to be replaced or re-cond..

you could get a sierra cos donor car for like 3k and transfer is all over to some degree.

finding parts for a mustang will be a ballache and 99% of them will have to come from u.s.a

oh and im a YB addict haha

Why fit a weedy little engine when a nice big one would be much nicer.

Brand new Ford Racing 5 litre 345bhp crate engine £3500 from Real Steel

Or Ford Racing 460 ci 7.6 litre 550bhp crate engine £5800 from Real Steel

youd be a absolute retard to put a YB in it, V8s are much easier and cheaper to get stuff for, from the USA it only takes a few days, and Real Steel stock everything if you cant wait that long.

You can buy a fully forged stroker kit for a ford/chevy v8 for less than set of forged pistons cost for most 4cyl cars.

And can get more power from a stock internals small block ford v8 with some turbos bolted to it than you can with a 10k+ cossie engine build.

i paid 350 for a running 5litre, and 50quid for a perfectly good 5.8 already in pieces, inc 8 brand new forged pistons
