ive spoke to chip quite a lot when i was putting the xe in mine.

he said its bee a while since he has done much on them, but that may have changed since i last spoke to him.

i just dont wanna get the engine in poistion and then find out the mounts are different or something.

Chip's been posting
Presume it's an X20XE you've got in it?
Same engine as LET basically, so should all line up ok.

Have a look on www.vauxhallsportforum.com

ask away mate i built this nova turbo this yr all on my own
I catalogued most of the build with detailed pics of the where the mounts have to go

Nova GTE tank is fine make sure you remove fuel pump cradle and remove the regulator that sits inline with the pump, rewire the pump with a relay, buy the chris ashley mount kit & the uprated rear gearbox rubber mount, buy new standard rubber mounts for the other 2 mounts & fill them in using stickaflex (both mounts are the same and are drivers side mounts you use)
I used a modified 2" Magnex stainless exhaust with a flexy joint to the standard calibra downpipe

i found them far too harsh and in with the let fitted you might find it'll crack the engine brackets cause there is no give in them

if you PM your address i'll put what i have on a CD and post it too you it'll make doing the Gearbox mount for the F28 alot easier and also shows what you need to do for the clutch outlet hole

you can make out the rear uprated mount in this pic

and then the use of the drivers side mount in the F28 Conversion bracket for the gearbox

Wish i'd got a vid of after i fitted Phase 2 & FMIC cause it was proper quick it would spin in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th in the dry! In the wet it was pointless trying to get traction lol!

I do miss the lal Car was hugh hugh fun & always put a smile on my face
