Dan do you find you need to blip the throttle when dipping the clutch on down shifts . Im still running the engine in so only reving to 4k max so using clutch up and down , up is no problem but matching revs on the down shift is.

yeah,
you end up double dipping, using left foot to brake and blipping throttle, So you need to sort pedal hieghts out, so they are the same hieght, to make it alot easier.
and make sure the clutch releases fully.

if your dog box is a good one then you wont need to do do any of that, all depends on the amount and design of the dogs, if you look at a hewland item compared to a quaife or an R+D then you wil lunderstand how you get differances in shift quality.

basically some are agricultural and some are not.

I've only used my R+D,

and as Neil, has a R+D it will be the same.

But once you get used to the way it drives, there is no issue on any shifting.
