Default ..i need some DIY advice



.....i have a new conservatory with just a concrete base and i want to sticky floor type tiles down..do i stick them straight to concrete or is there someting i have to put down first??????

i've stuck mine straight to the concrete and *most* of them have stayed put.

just makes sure the floor is spotless and free from dust/grit first.

I've seen floor tiles been stuck to concrete on a few sites but they have always been sealed with a clear liquid first.

...i just spent ŁŁŁŁ's on this conservatory and its only for the dogs...so fuck marble they getting cheap floor tiles!

paint over a thin layer of pva and water mix. not sure of the correct mix ratio off hand.

dont get ripped off at a tile shop. get a tub of pva from diy shop.
the directions should be on the side of it for the ratios for the different applications

As above, this will seal the floor and prevent the tiles sticking to the dust rather than the floor.

You could always lightly spray carpet adhesive spray down as you do it ofr extra stick..

Flooring like Karndean (sp) need special glues and carefull application, boggo tiles should be a doddle.
