Radio won't work over here, can't remember why, but it has something to do with different tuning frequncies. Same with Jap radios....

I remember reading something like the frequency jump is far too big on american radios therefore you can never lock on to any frequency over here (or so I think)

But however you look at it, it won't work

You can pick up stations but the frquency will be differnet (ie - Rather than Radio1 be 98.8 it may be 14.3 or summit!).

Had the Ford one in me Limousine and was like that!

:S You wont mate!! !! Its just the numbers are different! You still get all the UK stations just different numbers. Save em in your presets, job done!!!

some alpine units offer 2 tuners. its switchable in the settings.

other than that its the same frequency range just odd numbers ie 97.1, 97.3, 97.5, 97.7, 97.9 and so on. no even jumps.

Don't know of any Yanky radio stations with enough power to transmit over in the UK lol.

besides the frequency problems.. everything else should work. Unless you get a DVD player one.. not sure it will because of the country codes.
