They should limit every car to £30 the reason the garages run out is because of the people filling there tanks up then filling petrol cans up to One guy in asda filled his tank up then a few petrol cans total come to £80

PMSL, as long as twats keep panic buying there wont need to be any blockades or protests!!

If everyone carrys on as normal supplys will last atleast a week.

I say bring it on, stuck at home over Christmas with a few beers, good grub and a nice log fire, rather than traveling miles to go and see family that you carnt stand!

I only put £20 in this afternoon, got half a tank now. Should see me out this week and next with the driving I do.

My local shell at the times I normally has NORMALLY got around 8-10 cars in the forecourt at any one time usually like 11, 12 and queuing ouotside sometimes. This time, I found, to my UTTER UTTER amazement

2 CARS!!!!!! 3.30pm in the afternoon!!

i've not heard anything about a petrol strike either. I can't afford to buy extra petrol anyway if I wanted to. 100.9p a litre at Sainsbury's here.

This is what makes me laugh - when someone says there will be a fuel protest/blockade etc, everyone panic buys as much fuel as they can. The fule companies, and the government, are laughing as they are making a killing! Then no-one will buy fuel for a week while the protest/blockage is on cos they all have enough fuel to last it out, then once it's finished normal service will resume and everyone will go back to buying fuel as normal...

so in the above exercise, what has been achieved? NOTHING!

The government and fule companies haven't lost anything as everyone bought loads of fuel the week before!

If you have £200 and spend £50 a week, at the end of the month you have £0. If you have £200 and spend all £200 in one go, at the end of the month you still have £0.

No DIFFERENCE

Thrush-heads logic makes sense in a way but that is not what happened. Round my way there was a proper panic on with rations and all sorts. I recall my old dear shitting herself about getting to work and her work had short supplies for workers but would only allow so much. Abulances, buses the lot all in frenzy.

I'm glad they are doing it couldn't give a fuck what happens to me or anyone else. All these bitches moaning about the prices all week long then sit on their arse doing nothing. How many for example on here will protest or look to join in? Not one.

They talk about 10,000 or so well imagine if that was 1,000,000 it would still be no where near the whole country but would make that Scottish twat brown who's been robbing us for years and his monkey back right down and run off. 10,000 would make a slight dent but shows how lazy we are.

In the long run get the KY out and bend over.....

*Remember they say the biggest asset to a terrorist attack is the panic cuased itself not the actual attrocity.

the fact is it DIDNT aqffect them like it might, companys now will learn from this and will fill up also meaning fuck all

only way to stop this is to ride a bike to protest,,,, no matter what we WILL be screwed, they dont care either as we cut take one side and they take twice as much back as normal

stop complaining IMO,,, hell you cant even get a buss these days as you are ripped off there too

I wish it was 113.9!

Near my work shell optimax is 115.8!! I was gonna fill her up but only put £15 in!

(I was gonna put a £10er in but that might not of got me all the way home)

For this same reason I thought I was doin really bad mpg but when I worked it out i was doing 29.5 which isn't bad for a 190bhp mk6 fiesta
