rs central group 1/4 mile prizes
i see that lloyd mentioned in another post that rs central group are giving prizes for the fastest road legal 4wd - rwd - fwd at pod next year,
does anybody have anymore info on this? specific rules etc,

Bit of a debate going on at the min whether it will be 1 prize for fastest, or split into categories. We discussed it a bit at central meet on Sunday, but nothing fully decided. I heard £500 first prize mentioned though.

the prize money is still under disscussion,but i would think that 3 catogorys,fwd,rwd,and 4x4. would be ok.rules?well i think it would be best to use totb rules,they seem to work in deciding what is a road legal car,also what tyres you can use.any input from interested people welcome.

Along with it being a 2 day event this is shaping up to be a fantastic show. Been going for the last 3 years anyways and always enjoyed it.

as far as we have been told its just one prize for the fastest road legal ford, i did suggest seperate categories i think that its should be
4x4 forced induction
fwd forced induction
rwd forced induction
4x4 n/a
fwd n/a
rwd n/a
that way it encourages more people to take part cos lets be honest not many people can compete with some of the cars out there that will do 10 seconds quaters

If it is for 1 car fastest overall it will only be between the 4wd and rwd and it will even be no go competition for 99% of them cars as well.
since when has rsoc central day @ pod been a 2day event? or am i thinking of the wrong show
