well i was actually after one when i got my cossie, so if i DID have one, i would never have been on here

reason i didnt get one is i couldve afforded to buy one, but its almost a museum piece, i couldnt afford to thrash the shit out of it like a cossie.

awesome cars tho

eh?

seeing as all of them are either proper rally weapons or concourse museum pieces, id pretty fucking surely say every one of them would be reliable as ever, as they never do any miles.

not cheap tho, never have been, classic cars, GrpB rally cars, will always command big bucks.

Neither are those are Renault 5 Turbo 2's. Renault 5 Turbos, Renault 5 Turbo 2s, and Renault 5 Maxi Turbos, are the wide arch mid engine RWD old shape ones from the early 80s. Very rare, very expensive, very awesome.

Those in the pic are just normal later shape FWD normal arch Renault 5 GT Turbos.
The blue one is a Phase1 with a phase 2 rear spoiler, the red one is a Phase2.

And I agree, bloody lovely.

quite a few differences, (but nothing major)

the kit is normally black on ph1
there are little grills on the rear arch spoiler

interior
i'm not sure the ph1 had a perc fan
the ecu was moved from above the turbo

been a while since i had my 3...lol yes 3, but off the top of my head thatsa ll i can remember damm beer..lol

both those are clean examples

the maxi and turbo 2 are truel awesome machines

Just been reading the above as I've recently had the opportunity to purchase what is either a maxi or turbo2 (pics below). If anyone knows much about these motors please tell me which model it is and how much money they tend to fetch. The car has only 4,700 miles (no joke). It is absolutely mint. Been stored for a long time but still runs like a dream!
Any info much appreciated.
