The Drivers side drive shaft as it connects to the box, is sheathed with a rubber boot held with Metal circlips

thing is, what oil should come out? engine or box oil? from this. Also is it called the CV boot?
lastly.. where can i get one asap other than nobby fords

Should the grease be runny? as it literally poured out like fresh engine oil (only black)
i take it to replace, is shock out, hub down, driveshaft out?

I am pretty sure you can only split the shaft at the wheel end, so to get the inner one on, you will have to take off the outer one first. there is then a circlip inside the outer cv joint that will let you take that off the shaft.
