One of my claims to fame is that the snare drum used on the recording of the track "Wild Wood", is in my house

I bought it off Steve White himself (Paul Weller's drummer, also plays for The Who these days aswell)

It was used on plenty of Weller recordings, but I don't know which, the only one I can remember him telling me particulary is "Wild Wood"

And that it was used for a good few Oasis sessions and recordings aswell as Steve's brother, Alan White former drummer for Oasis liked the drum so much he stole it for a while Think some tracks from Defintely Maybe had my drum on them......

Town Called Malice

Down in a Tube Station at Midnight

Thats Entertainment

He definately wrote his best stuff when he was young and broke.

I do think he's a bit of a hypocritical cock for not at least doing a tour with the Jam.

If he didnt want to go back to those days why does he play so many Jam numbers in his live sets.

Maybe he likes the songs from that era, but doesn't want to repeat history by doing the same thing over again? Maybe it's because he and the other members of the Jam don't work well together anymore?

Look at Floyd - Roger Waters is still out on tour playing Dark Side of The Moon but has no plans to reunite with Dave Gilmour - like wise Gilmour is out, often with Wright and Mason, playing a mix of his own stuff and classic Floyd stuff (Dark Side of the Moon material, stuff off The Wall, stuff of Meddle, etc) but has no plans to reunite with Waters....

Love his music and have for YEARS, but went to see him live and it was terrible, no atmosphere at all.........

However that could just be the crowd, I saw Oasis in Hampden, Glasgow and then Sydney, Australia in the same year and the Glasgow gig completely pissed on the Aussie one I think purely due to the crowd.
